Former Oklahoma State quarterback J.W. Walsh is coming home to Stillwater, Oklahoma after a brief stint on the 40 acres with the University of Texas. The former Cowboy served a similar role as an offensive analyst at Texas for one season under former OSU offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich. Yurcich has since moved on to Penn State to serve in the same role as he did at OSU, Ohio State and Texas. The shake up in coaching staff comes following Tom Herman's departure from UT and the hiring of Steve Sarkisian. Walsh spent one season as a graduate assistant at TCU before serving as the running backs coach at Abilene Christian University for three seasons. Walsh left ACU to spend one season at UT. Now Walsh is reunited with his college coach at the university he played for. Walsh passed for 3,917 yards and 36 touchdowns in his time at Oklahoma State. He is the son of San Marcos High School head coach John Walsh John Paul Richardson Jersey, who was the head coach at Denton Guyer before leaving for San Marcos. Walsh will be working under quarterbacks coach Tim Rattay, according to the report from Allen. He will be a welcome sight to the Boone Pickens Stadium sidelines and could help the development of former Denton Ryan quarterback and OSU starter Spencer Sanders Holden Martinson Jersey.
